A little more narrowly, the intended focus is: Ideas, inventions and discoveries that stimulate the mind regarding things beyond ordinary everyday reality. 

We are very interested in radical science and futuristic technology but not to the exclusion of everything else. For instance, innovative ways of thinking and living are also directly within our scope of interest.

Regarding original content, please note that we are looking for material that is of general and not just personal interest: we don't want Post-Interesting to turn into a "collective blog for interesting nerds." 

We are after brief contributions: as a rule of thumb, between one and fifteen paragraphs. If you have something long to say, you should probably post it elsewhere on the Web and then post a link and summary to Post-Interesting. 

We won't pay you anything for your contributions; your only compensation will be the eternal glory of sharing information with whomever happens to look at the site.
